Factual VFX is a discipline that demands equal parts technical rigor and storytelling humility. The work has to be accurate — defensibly accurate, peer-reviewed accurate — and it has to disappear into the narrative so completely that the audience never thinks about the VFX at all. They simply believe.
This reel spans more than a decade of factual television: historical cities rebuilt in CG from archaeological evidence, scientific processes rendered at scales the human eye could never see, environmental hazards recreated safely for cameras that couldn't be there in reality.
The clients represented here — Discovery, National Geographic, BBC — are among the most demanding commissioners in factual production. Delivering to their standards, on broadcast schedules, at the level of quality this reel represents, is the work we are proudest of.
